Many times I do get confused as to which would (or could) be the language more comfortable to ‘very’ individual, first in a ‘country-wise’ way followed by across the border and beyond. In may ways I am in a ‘limited’ frame, whether by region, country or beyond. So I decided to use (in this particular context) in a common ‘international’ language in a desi style the emphasis is on local word called ‘hinglish’.

In my ‘half’ the life, beginning from the tender age of 6, music, and more particularly towards the ‘hindustaani thaaT’, I was more accustomed in a mid and north Indian environment. I was certainly to see, watch, hear as well ‘take signature’ of various Ustaad’, Begum’ and Pandit’ such as Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Pandit Jasraaj, Pandit Vishwamohan Bhat, Pandit Mallikarjoon Mansoor, Ustaad Nijamuddin (tablaa), Begum Parvin Sultaan and any others. And yet, there are many others who are in my collections, I have not been so lucky to meet or see ‘face-to-face’ with several such. One of such is Pandit Ajay Pohankar. I have watched, heard in several Cds, concerts such as Sawai Gandharv in Pune and Kesarbai Kerkar in Goa. But ‘not’ in a ‘closer’ “feelings” of meeting face-to-face. Several times in the recent t.v. channels, I did watch him in the ‘Saa Re Ga Ma Pa’ some months ago. Followed by some selective purchase of CDs too.

I present an additional (amongst many) a Thumri (once again), in an expressive view of one amongst many thumris, by Pandit Ajay Pohankar.

The expressions variates in from forms of love and expressions along with the different change as well feelings in fluctuating seasons connected with ‘loss’ of togetherness, far from reality.
