सखी मंद झाल्या तारका, आता तरी येशील का ?

मधुरात्र मंथर देखणी, आला तशी सुनी

    धन्यवाद अभिजीत!हे गीत तर सदाबहार चिरतरूण आहेच, शब्द, चाल सुमधुर मंद सुखद शीतल वा-याच्या मोरपिशी स्पर्शासारखी... भिमसेनजीनी मिरजेला एका खाजगी मैफिलीत खास फरमाईश म्हणून हे गीत पहिले भावगीत म्हणून आठवणी सांगीतल्या होत्या आणि सादर केले होते रागदारी चीजेसारखे अर्धा तास... गायिले सुधीर मोघे पण बोलले होते.. या सर्व मैफिलीच्या ही सुंदर दृक श्राव्य फित ऐकत पहात असताना पुन:प्रत्ययाचा आनंद मिळाला अत्तराची कुपी उघडल्यावर सुगंध पसरावा तसे.सुरेखा मंगला म्हणाल्या तसे ध्वनी काहीवेळा नीट ऐकू येत नव्हता.पण छान

    I think Ram Phatak is the composer, not Ram Phadke.

    Ram Phadke is probably right. Sudhir Phadlke's (AKA Babuji) real name was Ram. He may have used that name to compose this song. He changed it to Sudhir later on.

    Supriya is right. I heard this song from Rambhau Phatak before it was recorded in Pandit Bhimsen Joshi'd voice for a TV show. Rambhau Phatak sang this song in a MMLA program, probably 1986 or 87. According to him the this song, written by Sudhir Moghe, expresses an aging artist's thoughts (supposedly some one like Bhimsen JoshI)

    Thanks Vrishali. I knew this version of the song exists some where but I had never heard it.
    Later this song was recorded along with 'Disalees Tu Phulale Rutu' in Babuji's voice. Every one knows those songs.
